John Cage birthday and organ project

I’m a little late in the day to be posting this, but In honor of John Cage’s 114th birthday, Columbia University’s WKCR is playing a 24-hour marathon of his music.

I haven’t listened to WKCR recently, so I reminded by an email from the John Cage Trust.

The also mentioned one of my favorite music projects:

ORGAN2/ASLSP, the slowest and longest music piece ever, is being performed for 639 years in Halberstadt. They have video!
